Showboat rooms

Whats the difference between the Orleans rooms and the premium rooms?
Premium rooms are in the Bourbon Tower.
Is the Bourbon tower better?
Yes, but IMHO, not that much better.

I personally wouldn't pay extra for the premium tower.

Most of the time if you book Orleans on line, at check in they ask which tower you would like.
That said, I am a good customer at Showboat, and while it is not fancy, I have always felt that
I was treated well.

The Boubon Tower is closer to the Boardwalk, Diamond Lounge & in the middle of the casino.
The Bourbon tower is ususally booked first.

I've had bad rooms in the Burbon Tower also-- the pool floor is all humid and moldy-- I've had sweet diamond rooms in the tower by the front- and it's closer to Starbucks in the morning.
Being Diamond helps.
You can always call down and complian and get a different room if you don't like it.
I usually stay in the Bourbon Tower, but sometimes they put me in Orleans. The one constant difference is that the Orleans rooms do not get the HD tv channels. This makes little difference to me, but it might be important to some.

The Bourbon rooms are, basically, the same layout as Orleans, but tend to be slightly "plusher" in the decor.

The major difference is the location in reference to other casino facilities.

It would be silly to pay more just to be in the Bourbon Tower.
