State Taxes Horseshoe Indiana

I received a W2G from Horseshoe Indiana last year and they took out state taxes. I am a resident of North Carolina, can I file to get those state taxes returned?
This is a handy link for general info...

I believe the answer to your question is "no" you can not get those taxes returned from Indiana. Thanks for supporting our schools !

However, your state may allow you to deduct taxes you paid to other states - or not. You'll have to see what NC's tax laws are to answer that question. It is also possible that you may be able to deduct those taxes from the Federal taxes you paid on them....but thats a total guess on my part.
That is what I figured, Thanks for helping me answer the question and for the link. I will check out NC tax laws. Happy to support your schools with my small donation.
I don't know the laws in Indiana, but you should Google it and I'm sure you can find the specific information you need. I am a resident of Texas and had Louisiana state taxes taken out of a W2G win in Shreveport, Louisiana one year. I filed Louisiana state taxes as a non-resident and got most of it back. I would guess the same would be true for Indiana.
