Thanks Harrahs!

Just got back yesterday from a quick 2 day trip to Atlantic City. Got a free room for saturday and sunday night from Harrahs. They must have been hurting for business, I never get free saturdays. It was a beautiful weekend weatherwise.
Played at Bally's, Tropicana, Golden Nugget and Harrahs. Golden Nugget still has 1/2 the casino blocked off it seems and their bartender at the one bar couldn't change the channel on the TV's! So everyone wanted to watch the early football game sunday and they didn't have it on! I hit 4 aces for $100 there so I have good feelings about the place, LOL!
Watched the Steelers/Broncos game at the Poker Bar at Harrahs, played constantly for about 4 hours and hit a royal flush!! That helped take the sting out of the steelers loss, LOL! Had a nice dinner at McCormicks and Schmicks after the game with some of my winnings.
So thanks Harrahs for paying me to come out there!! I'm sure I will give it back at some point, lol!

Looks very close to a perfect trip! The new Golden Nugget doesn't sound too impressive, but nice that you got those aces. Four hours of play & a royal & a football game, love it! I thought the old energizer bunny (I call Rothlesberger) would maybe pull it out in the end. It was an awesome comback after getting behind. That pass in overtime was unbelievable! I think the injuries at this time of the year can really hurt a team. Since we are Brown's season pass holders, we know a lot more pain then most fans can bear.
Congrats on the RF, Harrahs will likely be flooding your mail box with cash back and free room so they can try and get some of their money back.
Woo Hoo!!! Congrats on the RF!!

Hey Blade when is your next trip to AC?

I was in Golden Nugget in December and it was very much in transition. The only thing I was looking at was the VP pay schedules (which were unimpressive). My guess is they will have everything ready when the weather warms up. I'm not optimistic about the VP since they took all the good machines out in Las Vegas.

We didn't hit the nugget when we went in December. I felt that they were turning too much of the gaming space into drinking space by adding more bars.

For sure the casino's in AC are hurting. But I still don't see many good deals. They need to throw in more free show tickets to entice people to visit. You can gamble just about everywhere now, they need to add something more, in my opinion.
