Trip report on Oxford, Maine

My wife and I went to this casino today to try it out. They have a lot of slot machines ranging from pennies to $5. The only video poker machines that we saw are at the bar and they are in denominations of quaters up to $2. They have about 12-15 of them. They have some table games in the middle of the casino. They have blackjack, roulette, let it ride, three card poker, and craps. They also have a restaurant. Water, soda, and coffee and all complimentry. All alcohol drinks you have to pay for(Maine law). The point system is $1 played in slots and in video poker equals 1 point. It takes 500 points to equal $1 food or non-cashable promotional credits. The video poker isn't the greatest in pay table odds. The BP is 6-5, DB and DDB is 8-5.
My wife and I put $40 into the video poker machines and we played on it for like 45-50 minutes. She hit four tensand we ended up $40 ahead there. We didn't do so good at roulette. I then put $60 on craps and 20 minutes later cashed out with $110. In the end after the 2 hours we were there we ended up $50 ahead. This is the only casino that I know that as of right now I'm ahead in!!!!!!
I also wanted to add that they are planning to add on and expand in September so I may wait till then and go check it out again.
thanks for the report. We have not made the trip to Maine casinos as I know they are small and probably do not have video keno machines, which is pretty much all we like to play. We are planning a camping trip to Maine this summer, and if close by, we might go take a look.
