Trump Marina to become Golden Nugget AC

I've never eaten there, but I can imagine how memorable a scene like that would be.
I would be very optimistic about having GN in AC. but Landry's track record so far is not encouraging to those of us who are hoping to get more playable video poker.

Landry's has not upgraded the poor VP at the GN downtown and, as I understand, has removed all the good VP in Laughlin. Since there is less demand for top VP in AC, I am not optimistic about the new Golden Nugget.

However, I will remain hopeful and perhaps they will surprise me. I used to play at the Castle (previous name for Trump Marina) a number of years ago, but have since switched to Borgata and then on to Harrah's.

Trump Castle was the first casino in town to get nickel VP - the games weren't great, but they took your money slower than the quarter machines. In those days, the casinos opened at 10 am. When they opened, there would be a race to the back of the casino to get a seat at the 5 cent VP machines. I could usually out run the senior citizens, but might not fare so well now that I am one of them.
