I hope karen doesnt mean the full pay at roadhouse is MIA. did you know that's the new name for the sheraton? rednecks galore, and a hundred penny progressive that's been berry good to me, traditionally. Harrahs had a paula deens! Good luck!

where did you get from my post that full pay at the Roadhouse was MIA?

ok, my jump to conclusion gene has been found out.
Sorry karen. It's still full pay at roadhouse. The hundred penny JOB is a positive expectation game when the progressive meter hits 917 USD. And I love that crap (to the tune of several thousand). Good Luck!
the condition of the Harrahs (prev. Grand) hotels have really tumbled since we were there last. During our visit last week we stayed at the Terrace...rooms were a huge let down. Old TV with very limited channel selection and fuzzy reception. one worn out chair in the room. the shower curtain was absolutely the cheeziest thing I've ever since in a hotel room. The carpet was stained in the lobby, the shuttles were slow, the waiting areas were dirty with trash sitting around. Gambling not too bad, 3CP had $5 limits...won some in the high limit slot area. Had to get used to ordering drinks via the slot machine. the only way to get them - waitresses won't stop otherwise. the casino bathrooms got dirty as the night got later with no one to service or clean. and for breakfast you had to wait on shuttle at the hotel and go to casino for a restaurant. No real restaurant in hotel.

I hated waiting on shuttles...sometimes they were full and you had to wait for the next one. Tunica airport was the smallest airport ever - no outlets at all - no news stand, no bar no restaurant...we were kinda stranded due to bad weather and the only food or beverage was a woman in the corner selling chips, nabs or peanuts and soft drinks or water out of a refrigerated cooler and glass counter they had a few beers but quicky sold out. JMHO but yuk...can't imagine ever going back.
when they remodeled the casino and rebranded, and remodeled the Veranda hotel, I have no idea why they didn't bother to remodel the Terrace or the hotel right next to the casino. A couple of times I have managed to get booked into the hotel right next to the casino and both times they gave me a 1 bedroom suite, but the room was so outdated, I didn't really enjoy it

did you take the shuttle over to the Horsehoe/Roadhouse/Gold Strike, or did you just stick to the one casino?
