50 Greatest National Geographic Photo Museum

Anyone been to this museum at the Venetian? Was it worth the time and entry fee?? Thanks for the feedback!
I haven't seen it but LivingSocial is offering a 50% off certificate for admission plus some minor extras.

There is a promo code available for an additional 20% off that expires today.

Promo code: GIFT20

Note: the LivingSocial website indicates must use by 11/27 though the exhibit extends into Feb 2014.

I have not been there but I have seen coupons in the Freebie magazines for $3 off of admission there -- so keep your eyes open for that (unless there is something better [a better promotion] out there)!

I have been there - and stayed for 3 hours. Well worth full price to me.
But then I can spend over an hour in the Peter Lik Gallery.
I guess it depends if you are a photographer - or how much you like photography.
There are videos running next to some of the photographs that tell you how the shot was made, and info on the photographer.
The exhibit is very well done.

I spent over two hours viewing the exhibit earlier this year; time and money well spent. Go see this exhibit, you will not regret it.
Went last month with the Groupon. Very interesting. It's a nice quiet break from the usual Vegas chaos. Recommended.
Thanks to vpoker for posting the question and to all those who took the time to share their thoughts on the exhibit. I will be in Las Vegas in a week to 10 days and I will take the time to visit the National Geographic exhibit at the Venetian.
Also visit the Peter Lik Gallery - at the Venetian at Grand Canal Shops - great photography gallery from one of the best - and it's free.
Saw it when it first opened. Spent a couple of hours at it. Fascinating to see the work that went into some of those images. A great break from the usual LV craziness. Highly recommended.
I thought it was wonderful. I also spent more time than I figured, but I work for a newspaper and take photos as part of my job, so I found some of the techniques interesting.
