Absinthe

There is a very interesting and informative article in the Las Vegas Sun about Absinthe

Skating skirmish, too much anatomy raises eyebrows at returning ‘Absinthe’

It won't be the same without Kalfayan (big shoes, as they say...) and skaters come and go, but the real issue, in my opinion, is safety. Logistically, Absinthe is a risky production. If any component is out-of-sync, they need to fix it quickly.
...and they had an accident a short while ago. One of the tight rope
guys fell and his pole hit an audience person in the head and had to get
a few staples. They'll be OUT OF THE SHOW for a few days so a safty
investigation can happen...

First time I saw ABSINTHE...the 'Gaz' was off. His replacement was fine,
but having seen the new Show with Gaz...I'd make sure he's working
the night you visit ABSINTHE.

The replacement skating team that shold be on line soon are 'said' to
be even faster then the first team...
I can see both ABSINTHE and SAXE milking this little rivalrey to the point
where they have a...SPEED OFF.
Hey!...it's all good advertising for BOTH sides.
We saw the show Absinthe in September and enjoyed it. Has there been many changes in the show since September

Absinthe is good - but it seems to be taking on a cult status that it doesn't deserve. It seems to be being touted as the greatest thing in Vegas, but it isn't great - it is merely different. Human Nature, Jersey Boys, Phantom ans several of the Cirque shows leave it behind in the dust. At least, that is my opinion.
