aComedy Clubs : Planet Ho, Brad Garret, and RIO

1. I used to really like the Sin City Comedy Club at the shops next to Planet Hollywood. On my last trip the club had been moved into Planet Ho, on the second floor. The show was a real disappointment. The headliner was actually a local radio dj who was breaking into comedy.

I tried to find out if the club was under new management. All I got was the usual LV nonsense, "oh yea,
we been here for turdy yeers" right ok ..

Does anybody know. Has this comedy club just gone down hill.

2. I tried the Brad Garret club. Two of the comedians were in their early 20's and should have been at the Palms comedy club. George Wallace was the third surprise comedin and very good. He also threw out an offer of free admission to his show with your ticket stub from Garrets club.

Does anyone have an opinion about the Brad Garret club?

3. I have not been to the club at the RIO. Any reviews appreciated.

BTW: I stoped going to the Improv at Harrahs because the show has been reduced to 60 minutes.
Just not great value.
Went to the comedy club at the Rio last year. There were only about a dozen people in the audience which made for a very personal show. the top bill was the guy who was on America's got talent a couple of years ago (he made it to the final 10 or something). I think all the comedy shows are a complete hit or miss. We have been to the one at the Riv several times and some were a total flop and other times we walked away with sore stomachs from laughing so much.
My wife and I go to the Riv comedy every year with the coupon and most of the time It's good. I think we've gone there like ten times and only like two weren't that good.
Good to know about the Riviera CC. I'm not a big fan of comedy clubs but like to go every now and then for a change of pace. Didn't make it last trip so was thinking about the Riviera for April given the ACG coupon for 2 free tix.
