Shows like Adele cost so high. I go to lot of shows when in Las Vegas. Yet with ticket price over $700 and up I just can't afford. Too bad

Any feedback on high cost of some shows?

They charge high prices because 1) supply and demand, meaning how popular they are, whatever the 'traffic' (us) will bear; 2) they are expensive to put on; orchastra, band members, dancers, costumes, pyrotechnics, insurance all have to be paid from ticket sales and/or whatever deal is made between the performer and the venue.  How comps figure into that I sure don't  know.   JMHO, as always.

The only high priced show I ever paid for was when Garth Brooks did his one man year long (or almost) show at Wynn, many years ago.  It was some deal between Garth and Steve Wynn, I think when Garth was getting back into performing.  I was willing to do it for my husband's birthday.  I can't recall the exact ticket price but but to me it was a fortune; today it would seem not so very high as compared with that of Adele and others.

How much does an Adele CD cost? And you can play it over and over!

Candy thanks for your thoughts.

I guess I remember the days when Las Vegas

offered entertainment for cost of a drink

or a reasonable price.

After all I think the Casinos can afford it!
My limit for a show I really want to see is $200.

Nevertheless South Point has real good deals

with LVA two for one coupon. When your old like me I remember the headliner's that do shows there.

Can you image Frankie Avalon coming soon 81 years old.

Have a great day all

If I wanted to hear her sing, all I have to do is buy a CD or listen to a radio. I will never understand anyone paying the incredible prices to hear someone sing songs that you can hear for free - there must be some "need" to say "I saw ( fill in the name) in a concert". To sit for 1-1/2 to 2 hours, pay outrageous ticket prices with multiple "fees" and taxes, ushered in like a herd of cattle, watching from the south 40 - is it really worth it?

OMG! just how many times I must miss Adele. I really want to watch her live. If I get a jackpot, I'll be sure to not miss a show when the opportunity strikes. Maybe this is what I get for waking up in vegas LOL

I would like to see her live But no way for $700 $1400 for two

So is it $700 or $1400 for two?
