Any suggestions for Fontana Bar replacements on the strip

Hi

With sadness I just read in the latest LVA that the Fontana Bar will be closing in May.

I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for other strip locations that rival the Fontana for a great live music venue.

We have also enjoyed La Scena at the Venetian which provided similiar entertainment.

My wife and I have always enjoyed ending our evenings at the Fontana and will miss the intimate atmosphere.

I haven't been yet, but the LV Hilton just opened a live R&B bar in the old Starwars Casino space.
I also enjoy the lounge bar at Mandalay Bay - don't know the name.
A great place to avoid is the bar at IP

Check Dian Diaz's website diandiaz.com for schedule updates - Dian has been the house act at the Fontana for over ten years and now can also be seen live at Red Rock and the M Resort. Even though the Fontana is closing, Dian will still be performing regularly at other venues in town.

(P.S. The lounge bar at Mandalay Bay is called Mizuya - it used to be called J Pop)

On my trips I have passed by the lounge bars at Paris and Ballys and they seemed to be jumping, Ballys more than Paris that is. But neither compares to the intimate feel of Fontana.
