Big Elvis is leaving Bill's

Per VegasChatter

A Vegas institution, Pete “Big Elvis” Vallee, who has performed for thousands of people at Bill’s Gamblin’ Hall & Saloon (formerly the Barbary Coast) for a decade has stunned his fans by announcing he’ll be moving to Harrah’s Las Vegas on May 3, 2012. The final “Big Elvis” show at Bill’s will be April 30, 2012. Big news. Bigger talent. The Elvis tribute artist made the surprise announcement on his Facebook page, stating, “A chapter comes to a conclusion at Bill’s Hotel and Casino. Were moving to Harrah’s…if you’re coming out to see me, the show will be at the piano bar. Thank you, Bill’s, for 10 great years! Thanks to the fans and friends. Hope to see you at Harrah’s.” Vallee’s show in the piano bar at Harrah’s will take place Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 2:00 p.m., 3:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. The new show will be, as it’s always been.
Sounds like a good move....thanks for the update...as we will be there in June...and always look forward to seeing Big Elvis...You are so kind to keep us all informed.....It is appreciated...

It doesn't surprise me...Harrah's will be a good fit for him.
CET's plan to convert Bill's into a young demographic,
boutique hotel wouldn't be right for Pete.
Now I haven't heard much about that phase of CET's
Strip remodel in a while, most talk now is about LING, but
Bill's IS in the model for a total makeover inside 'n out.
Agree, glad they're "making room" for Big Elvis at Harrahs.

His website says he is now in Harrah's Piano Bar weekdays except Wednesday from 2 to 6PM:

Big Elvis

Note that some Vegas websites still show him at Bill's.
