Buy tickets before trip or use tickets4tonight?

Headed to Vegas in 5 weeks and will be with family. One of the things on the agenda are shows. High on the list are Jersey Boys, Million Dollar Quartet, David Copperfield, Terry Fator, and Australian Bee Gees. What is the best route for tickets. Should we purchase before hand via one of the online discount vendors or try our luck at Tickets4tonight once we get there? Thanks for the insight!
I buy my tickets ahead of time, if you can get a discount. I hate waiting in line and if something is sold out you are SOL.
To me, the advantage of using Tix4Tonight when I get to town is that I'm not locking myself into being at a specific show at a specific time. I can go and see what strikes my fancy.

Having said that, if you wanted to make sure you saw a specific show, I would buy in advance. You might want to try goldstar.com to get a good discount.
If you have Shows you're really looking forward to seeing, a poor seat can
totally ruin your eventing of entertainment.

Look at each properties seating chart and decide on your price range,
sections, and rows of choice, staying as centered in the showroom as possible.

JERSEY BOYS, MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET will be best enjoyed sitting 4 to 10
rows from the front of the stage.

TERRY FATOR...first 3 rows centerish...it IS a puppet show.

BEE GEES work just fine with a Gen'l Admission tic, the sound is better
towards the back of the room.

I haven't seen David's Show in years, but illusion Shows are always fun up front.

You probably won't find these seats via Tix4tonight or any of the discounters.
You want a guaranteed good seat, book in advance with the properties box office.
Call them, don't book on line...talk to a real person and request your section and
row.

Use the Las Vegas Advisors list of property FREE phone numbers, call 'em, ask
for the box office and get yourself some great seats!

I agree on getting seats in advance for larger venues and where it literally pays to be close. For smaller venue shows (like the ones in the Miracle Mile) the TixTonight is fine.
listen to GREGRIO, when it comes to shows, he knows!
Sat in the balcony in NYC to see Jersey Boys, thought it was great from there.

+1
Gregrio is without doubt the guy to recommend the best seats for pretty much all Vegas shows. His knowledge of seating plans alone is amazing.
If you want the best experience and have the cash - that is the way to go - no contest - I read everything that he posts.
If you are on a budget, or don't care about having the best seats - there are some deals out there. LVA coupons, Goldstar, Tix4tonite, Vegas.com, vegas4locals, and several others. Choose your budget then choose your shows - that is the best advice that I can offer.
Hope this helps!
Agree GREGRIO is the best

I have found when buying tickets in advance, I try online at the shows website to see whats availabe. I then call the box office. I have gotten better seats a few times by doing this. Tuesday I bought tickets to Amy Schumer at the Mirage and was offered row KK online. called the box office and got row BB...Go figure...
