Cirque du Soleil Advice

We are going to be in Vegas 12/22-27 with a 16-year-old girl and 12-year-old boy. The girl is especially interested in seeing a Cirque show. Over the years, I've seen O, Mystere, Love, and Zumanity, which was disappointing and a little sleazy, IMHO. (Said by someone who has spent his share of time at the Olympic Gardens, Crazy Horse Two, etc.) I don't think the Beatles thing would necessarily appeal to these kids, and it seems like O is way more expensive than Mystere. Both seemed comparable to me a long time ago. Any suggestions on which to see, where to sit, discounts, etc.? Are there other shows these kids might like equally? Thanks a million.
If you are staying near MGM I would take them to KA, easy to find discounts to this show, otherwise Mystere is always a safe bet and also easy to find discounts. Sitting in the center is always good. Love, every seat is good! When my kids were that age their favorite was O. but like you said it was the most expensive.
I would suggest Mystere to introduce the kids to the world of Cirque. There is so much going on at any given moment with "O", it's hard to take it all in. Mystere has a lighter tone with many comical scenes to keep the younger members of the audience entertained.
Also for Mystery, I'd recommend sitting in seats a bit further back rather than close to the front, as some of the action happens over the walkway that circles the stage in the center of the seats. That's a great show - I'm sure your children will love it!

My suggestion:

(1) Mystere (make sure you show up early)
(2) KA (make sure you show up early)
(3) La Reve

Thanks for the advice. (Why should we show up early for KA and Mystere?)
Because fun things happen to those who don't! (And the people that get there early can enjoy watching what happens...)
As Eurotraveler stated, they have a mobile group, dressed in costume, who have fun with the people arriving and especially those who show up close to show time.
Although I have not seen any Cirque du Soleil shows, I can tell you that there are discounted tickets (I think 20% off) that you can get for most of the shows if you are a member of the Auto Club (AAA), so check into that!

RecVPPlayer
KA has discount tickets at the TIX-4-Tonight booths almost every day.
Your kids might like the Chris Angel show - Believe. But I can guarantee you wont.
