Cirque’s ‘Viva Elvis’ to undergo major changes

Well....it's needed somethin'.
I've seen it 3 times now. The first two were the preview Shows
and I was VERY UNDER IMPRESSED.
Then...not too long ago, I saw it again after they'd 'tweaked' the
hell out of it. I WAS ENTETAINED BUT...not to the level/standards
of other CIRQUE Shows I've grown to enjoy and see over and over again.

We took the in-laws to it a couple of weeks ago and they liked it, big Elvis fans. My wife and I were entertained but I thought it lacked alot-very little high wire acrobatics etc. Just a big let done after seeing Love 6-7 times with so much going on. I couldn't understand why 80% of the time they used Elvis vocals but other times 2 different girls took the lead-didn't care for that. The dancing was very poor, however I did enjoy the live band. My in-laws thought I was a little tough on my thoughts of the show but I guess the powers in charge think the same. A lady next to me had Gregrio's opinion that she was entertained in parts but wouldn't go back again as she has with Love and O.

I've about decided everything after Love is going to be a let down. That is the first Vegas show I have walked out on. I think it was about over but I just couldn't sit there and endure anymore. Oh and I didn't even walk out of Believe before it was over.

I LOVE Cirque, but I've decided I'm not too crazy about the "themed" ones. That would include Elvis, the Beatles and Michael Jackson.

Have to admit I saw Elvis in previews and it's probably much different now but.... it was boring. I've seen Love 5 times and it's been something new each time.
