CMA Award show or Fan Jam at Mandalay Bay??

Has anyone attended either of these shows? Any advice? Does the Fan Jam have reserved seating or is it general admission?

another question specifically for the CMA's is.....is there any chance to actually meeting the stars? meet and greet type thing?

I have been to both the ACMs and the Fan Jams. If you want to see the awards show live, it is fun, but if you want to hear a lot of music, plus some of the awards are presented there, the Fan Jam is just as much fun at 1/3 the price. I missed last years, but the year before, the Zak Brown Band was the host and after the awards show, they taped a full concert, so it lasted almost 5 hours.
