Caesars & Ticketmaster now require your COVID card for entry to a show!

Good! That's common sense.

I'd feel good about it, and given a choice more likely to attend where it was required. 

Funny thing is, consider how many cooties we've all been exposed to over the years before the pandemic.  Flights, concerts, just standing in line for whatever.  Haven't most of us arrived home from a trip feeling kinda crappy?  Not deathly ill, just crappy, sneezy, dopey, sleepy...coughy?  LOL.

But don't get me wrong...Covid-19 ain't a fairy tale and I know it.

This year millions of people have flown planes & have attended indoor & outdoor events, with no problem, so there is no need for covid passports.  All it does is encourage fake cards.

Interesting that the people who want covid passports, have meltdowns over voter ids.

Yeah, with "no problem," other than thousands of illnesses and deaths--caused by people who weren't vaccinated. So, mandating vaccination cards, passports, whatever you want to call them, for people attending large events is simple common sense. Doing so only "encourages fake cards" for people who are so stupid and/or irresponsible as to attend a large gathering without being vaccinated, and the good news is that those people usually make some pretty crummy and easily detectable forgeries. Opposing vaccine card requirements because some people will try to use counterfeit cards is like not requiring driver's licenses to operate vehicles because some people will try to use a fake license.

Any mention of voter IDs is silly and irrelevant, because voter identification isn't a public health issue. Attempts to politicize public health issues have caused active harm. No one should do that.

No, they don't.

They require proof that you have been vaccinated OR they require a recent test showing that you are not a danger to others. And when I saw Rod Stewart at Caesars last week, they had free on-site testing, and even a special lane for Diamond and above.

That's probably the case everywhere vaccinations are mandatory for entrance--that you can, as an alternative, provide proof of a recent negative test. But why on earth would anyone go to the trouble of getting a test when for the same amount of trouble, they could get vaccinated and be done with it?

Oh, right, I forgot. The vaccines make you grow antlers. Tucker Carlson said so.

Millions of people are attending events every week without vaccination passports & cases are dropping.  Almost 70% of the adult population is vaccinated & millions of others have immunity.  It is all about government control & appeasing the covid paranoid like Lam.
