The dance floor, which is rather large, was quite full the entire night. Many of the people there seemed to be knowledgeable with proper dance moves and etiquette.
I was amazed as I showed up early to eat a later dinner and it appeared that people were jockeying to get in line. It seems to me that they have quite a following at the Gold Coast. ...... and NO cover charge, no drink minimum (even though the sign said 2 drink minimum - There were no cocktail waitresses and people would just walk up to the adjacent bar found inside the lounge/showroom)
I saw the San fernando band playing at the barbary Coast 4-5 years ago. Absolutly the best band i have ever heard in Vegas. I'd pay money to see them again. I'm checking Gold coast website now to see if they are there while Im in Vegas. That would be reason enough for me to switch my stay to GC for a couple of days!!
