Did Wynn ever explain...?

The $100 price hike for Garth Brooks tix? I noticed it was mentioned on the home page today that tix are still available for his shows. I've noticed that for all of his upcoming shows tix are available.

When Garth started this, he had all the tix at $143 so that everyone could get them without breaking their bank accounts to do so. So when I saw they went to $253 I was at first stunned, and then pissed. Both at him and Wynn.

Obviously we will not pay more than $500 to see him play (if the original 4 Beatles toured, they MAYBE, but we all know that can't happen...), but we were wondering if there was ever a reason given for the price hike.

Gregrio? Anybody else have an inkling?

Thanks!

Ya know, it's pretty goofy Bushman...
When Wynn first anounced he was upping the ticket price,
he said it was because he didn't know Show tickets went for
that much and if other Shows could, he should too!
EL TORO CRAPO!!!

I can't believe he had no idea of what ticket prices in Vegas
were going for.
I was even more surprised that Garth let him get away with it...
(or did he???) Could Garth be changing his attitude too...
HELL, SOMETHNGS GOTTA PAY FOR THAT JET EVERY SHOWTIME!
I've noticed tickets are still available when we are there but way too above our price. That would be the price of another trip to Vegas.
I think there is a decent amount of Wynn's guests who can pay that w/o blinking an eye; that's dinner out..
we aren't them -lol
but it's a small theatre and I know it's just him, a stool and his guitar
I'm a free or $35.00 BOGO type o gal

Buy his CD it last forever, better yet have your kid download it for next to nothing. Send a message do not go!

Going to see his show would cost more than our airfare from Virginia. Seeing as he is now playing to a decent amount of empty seats every show, hopefully someone will get smart and drop the prices again.

If not, I can at least say I saw him once and can listen to his cd's anytime I want.
