Elton John Questions

I wanted to take my wife and freinds to Elton John on February 9th and have a couple questions im hoping some of you can hhelp with.
1. I've never been to the coliesium, so what are good seats there
2. where is the best (cheapest) place to buy tickets
3. do the half price outlets usually have EJ tickets, if yes what kind of discount
4. Do EJ shows sell out in vegas (should we buy tickets now ?)
5. How is the show

Any info would be helpfull Thanks in advance
We just purchased tickets for Feb. 14. The tickets are sold through Ticket Master. Unless you happen to be a high roller and have a host, you are at the mercy of Ticket Master's website or auto phone system. Check out the Million Dollar Piano and you will see a diagram of the venue and you can decide how much you are willing to pay. Price range begins at $500 and goes to $55 for the back of the upper most balcony. Good luck!
ELTON has another great Show with 'Million Dollar Piano', I thought it was wonderful.
Here's what you're up against though...YOU'RE LATE FOR FEB...I bet most of the good seats
are sold. You might find individuals, but all seats together...good luck.
It's gonna cost ya...
Keep in mind, ELTON sits LEFT of center stage.
BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK will be in FIRST MEZ...I suggest SECTION 4 (1STMEZ4)...then 3 or 5
and as front as possible...ROWS A,B,C. Any further back and I'd skip it this trip.

The better experience will be had on the floor and I suggest REAR ORCH 4...then 3 or 5
ROWS A,B,C,D,E,. If you choose REAR ORCH 3 or 5...try for as close to CENTER SEC. 4 as possible.
I would totally avoid the far Left and Right sections at any level. Your visual will be distorted.

You WILL call TicketMaster (sorry...)
Have the Colosseum seating chart up when you call so you know where the seats are.
Call 1.800.745.3000
When the recording comes on with your first question....MUMBLE! lol. It won't recognize what you
said and ask you again...MUMBLE...they'll hook you up with a real person so you can request
where you'd like to sit. DON'T BUY ON LINE OR LET TM COMPUTER PICK YOUR SEAT...talk to a real person.

Wish I had known the trick about how to get a real person on the phone when I got my tickets. I'll use it next time. We did manage to get row C in the lstMEZ but on the left side. I'm sure we will still enjoy the show.

OF COURSE YOU WLL! 'orchid'...you'll have a blast.
Ya know...the TicketBastard recording will eventually say something about speaking
to a customer service person but...YA GOTTA LISTEN THRU ALL THIS EL TORO CRAPO....'mumble', lol.
(i speak KLINGON)
Ya know...IT'S HAPPENED AGAIN.
I can read a post...from a member...asking about some Show...
IN THE PAST IT'S ALWAYS BEEN WITH 'LOVE'.
Then I start remembering the Show, what a good time I had, the music, etc.
Before I know it, I'm looking at seats, RIO rooms, SOUTHWEST flights.........
Today I got a tic for MILLION DOLLAR PIANO! lol...Thursday, Feb. 16th,
THANK YOU! LOL
When we saw it in October we were seated four rows from the back, off to the left side and in the top mezzanine.

The show was amazing.

If your staying with a CET property you can call and "charge" it to the room in advance. Then you can use points to pay for them when you pick them up.

Have fun!
