Excalibur BEE GEES Show

Just got back from the show. Tickets through Goldstar 50% off VIP.
Table 2 - seats 3 and 4 were really good - very close but sound was good.
If I went again I would sit on the same side which - as you look at the stage is on the right of the stage. or centre.
That is because Maurice was on the left of the stage and I found his attempts at humour to be annoying.
Vocals were great and very authentic - which they should be - they have toured this show around the world for 15 years. Show started slightly weak but after 2 songs they were absolutely nailed - a great sound. The strobes were not fun. Strobes facing the audience usually align over their heads but these shone at eye level. My eyes are still a bit sensitive following my surgery and I found that I had to keep dark glsses on the whole show - and keep my eyes closed for the disco numbers.
I would like to see them in a better theatre with a better stage - this is a stage for male strippers so they didn't spend too much making it look good.
As an aside, there was a guy in drag (looked quite good actually ) who got up and danced. My wife and a couple of others at the table pointed out that his/her minidress had ridden up, displaying to all that he was in fact male. I totally missed it

All in all it is a great show - particularly with 50% off through Goldstar.

You won't be disappointed.

GREAT! THANKS FOR THE FEEDBACK!
I chose a Booth 5 seat, paid the rack rate $49.45
That should give me a good, general idea of the lay out
of the joint and if I want to see it again, get my tic
from Gold Star, thanks again.
I just got back from Vegas. We saw the show on Tuesday, May 17 and were extremely disappointed. We were at Table 14 (about the middle of the room, just left of center). The theater is very small. I don't know if they were having sound issues or what, but the vocals just weren't there. It sounded like they were standing about a foot away from the microphones (yet they were singing right into the microphones) - you could see their lips moving, but just couldn't hear the vocals very well. We looked around the room and saw few people looking as disappointed as we were. There were groups just clapping and singing along having a great time. I think we would have enjoyed it if a lot of alcohol were involved. I hope this was just a fluke.

Definitely wasn't like that when I went - sound was very good. Also the goldstar members who reviewd it gave high marks. Sounds like you just got unlucky and went on a night when they were having technical issues.
