Favorite Spa and Why?

Thanks Fredo, I had not heard of spafinder before so this is a great resource and I appreciate that. I too am very excited about the arctic room. Native Floridian that I am, any opportunity at arctic cool/snow is a must.

Have a Great Evening
Qua hands down. The best part is after you get a service, spending the rest of the day in the spa and using the ice room, the eucalyptus steam room, the sauna, etc etc etc. Plus they have several awesome pools in their spa. Or, get your service scheduled for like noon and go in two hours earlier and use all the facilities before your treatment! Best. Spa. Ever!
Also if you are going in the summer they sometimes have $99 massage specials; check out their website.
If your BFF was of the opposite sex, then I would recommend Aria as there is a coed outdoor patio pool that you can meet and they also have some indoor coed areas (heated marble tile lounge room and a room with lounge leather chairs that vibrate with spa music in the background)

If your BFF is of the same sex, then I would recommend QUA.

If you were staying at Venetian or Palazzo, then I would recommend Canyon Ranch Spa as it is only $20 for guests ($40 for non-guests)

If you plan on heading to QUA or Canyone Ranch, those are the only two spas in Vegas that accepts Spa Finder Gift Certificates. You can usually purchase $100 (2 x $50) Spa Finder cerficated at Costco for $79. The only catch is that they won't give you cash or credit back. If you use a certificate for $45 day pass at Qua, you forfeit the $5.

The Encore at Wynn is beautiful, but for $45, I would head over to QUA.

Thanks Jen and Ink; This trip, my BFF is the same sex but I will be keeping Aria in my list for my future spa adventures. We are definitely going early to enjoy the facilities before our massages and may hang out and afterwards also.

Thanks ladies for all your advice and wisdom.
Hard Rock Hotel has an awesome Spa Facility. We booked with them through Groupon and it did not disappoint.

We also did the MHotel Spa in March and it too was excellent and top notch.
The snowflake room at Qua is shaped like an igloo and the snowflakes have mousture lotion in them (they think of EVERYTHING)- which is wonderful..: heaven, but wear flip flops as it can be a tad slippery... just stay 2 minutes.. nice break- surreal. You can really spend time at Qua- let the world slip away...good teas and fruit..someone will make your tea for you.
Qua is my chioce also

BUT Wynn has the BEST waterfall booth- you self massage by water/ make sure to hold on to both handles..start at neck and make the pressure go slowly down each vertabre... awesome
Thanks bphales and noahcat. That waterfall booth sounds heavenly too. We had decided on Qua, so now we are checking out Wynn and may have to have 2 spa days

Thanks to you all

THIS is the thread I've been looking for! Finding myself in Vegas on an unexpected solo trip the weekend of November 9 and I knew I had read a detailed thread about the good spas. I have a comped north tower room @ Ballys so I thought I'd stroll across to Caesars and try e buffet for breakfast, veg @ the spa and have a couple of treatments in the afternoon. Qua it is!
