Frankie Moreno at Stratosphere

Just saw Frankie Moreno at the Stratosphere last night with friends. We are all locals so received exceptional pricing - regular pricing is very reasonable also. He is not only a really talented singer but can play the piano with the best of them. Band is absolutely great. Horn section, violins, the works. He sings LV standards along with some very good original songs. Received a deserved standing ovation at the end of the 1 1/2 hr show. I believe this is where Danny Gans also got his start. After the show he comes out to the lobby to sign autographs and take pictures. Can you ask for anything more these days? Definitely worth the trip to the Stratosphere to see this show - great performances and exception value. We'll be seeing him again.

We have seen Frankie a number of times when he played one Brendan's lounge at the Orleans. Hopefully his show does well at the Stratosphere.

He did mention that he previously had played several lounges in LV including the Palms. He made it sound like the Stratosphere showroom is a definite step up for him since it's a much larger venue. Recent news articles were worried he might not be able to keep his intimate connection with the audience in a large showroom, but if last night was any indication there is no problem. It's apparant the Stratosphere is really backing this show by all the advertising of him around town.
