Gospel Brunch at HOB at Mandalay Bay

Has anyone been to this event on Sundays at the House of Blues? Reivews, impressions, thoughts, early or later performance? Hoping its more than a $40 brunch buffet. As always, your inputs and opinions are appreciated.

We went to the early one several years ago. Plain buffet food, good show. Very packed in like sardines. Hard to move. To me, it was just one of those things that we did once to get off our list and never have to do again.

Thanks for the reply. I was concerned about the seating arrangement. We might take a pass. Dunno yet.

Big caveat: I've never been.
Since MB opened with the HOB, reviews have always been mediocre. The reviews were typical for what you usually read about corporate concept themed restaurants (Hard Rock Cafe, Rainforest Cafe, Harley Davidson, etc). At first, food was considered limited and mediocre. They've probably worked on that over the years. Still, not a single person has reviewed it on the LVA website. That might say something.

If you go, it's a risky play. Might work out, but a gamble. There are better brunches in town. The only thing, they don't have the music piece. If that's what's really important. It may work for you.
