Hard Rock - The Joint

How is the seating at The Joint at the Hard Rock Cafe? I am planning on seeing an event and was wondering if there are particular seating areas that I should avoid or try to get.
When are you going? Whats the event?

Gregrio will be back in a few days & could probably help you. He got us seats for a Concert, in 11 days,
and its being held there. He definately knows the layout.

In the meantime, If you go online to book seats, a seating chart comes up to help you.
It'll depend on the act. Saw hard-rock act Primus there two years ago, no seats at all, just a gently rising floor broken up by a few steps and railings.

For other shows they put seats in.

I don't think there's a bad seat. I'd assess my need to be close to the stage and buy accordingly.
Thanks for the feedback, Chilcoot! I tried to find a photo of what the venue looked like and the 2nd photo you provided gives me a better idea. Once again... thanks!

There's a few ways to get seats and a couple ways they set
up the JOINT per whatever Show (by the way, the JOINT is
at the Hard Rock, not the Cafe)

Look at Chilcoot's pic facing the stage...see that balcony 1st area to the Right...
that's where I sit these days.
The floor 'can' be a zoo depending on what Show you're seeing. Even with
reserved seats, folks may be standing all night.

Check this out: thejointlv.com
'click' STUDIO LEVEL
(there's also a good seating chart on this site)

See those tall tables and chairs on the Left side of the picture...that's
SECTION 201, the first balcony off the floor. You can only buy them thru
a host but you don't need to be a high roller or anything...it's just some
stupid way they do it.
I'd guess that first table in the shot is probably TABLE 4 or 5...

ALSO...if those seats aren't sold by the day of the Show, THEN you can
get one from the JOINT box office that day but...they may be sold out too.

In that shot, the stage is in front, a bit to the Right (not shown in the picture)
You want TABLE 4,5,6,7,8...tables 1,2,3 are a bit close and the sound isn't as good
as further back.

IF...you want to try for SEC. 201 in advance, you'll need to email DEMI GONGOS
[email protected]
She will get back to you AND...they prefer to sell 2 tics at a time, not just 1 (but they will...)
The options with these tics are....
Just a ticket for the Show..
Tic including open bar..
Tic including open bar and pass to Vanity afte the Show.
I get JUST the ticket for the Show. You have your own full bar up there,
your own cocktail server and bathrooms AND......you pay more than just
a ticket from the JOINT box office.

Other than that, call the Hard Rock 1.800.473.7625 and ask for the JOINT box office.
My gal there is...'Kim' (she should be able to hook you thru to Demi too)

*What Show do you want to see and how many tickets do you need?
Demi will be a breeze to work with if you want 2 or more tics.
Thanks for the SUPERSONIC and detailed information. I certainly wasn't expecting insider information like that. So thanks a bunch, eh! (I'm from Canada).

The show I agreed to go and see with my buddy is Ellis Mania which from what I can tell is a boxing style fight with a bunch of jackasses. It should be interesting to see this non-traditional fight / show. Now, the only kicker was that I told my buddy that if I agree to see Ellis Mania, then we've got to check out the Sante Fe Horns. Because of your great suggestion last February, this will now be the 2nd time in one year I get to see the Sante Fe gang in Vegas.

Hence we will need 2 tickets in total
