I took the evening strip Helicopter ride. Started off with a glass of champagne while waiting, then we were rushed on, buckled up and off into the air. The flight was smooth, and the take off and landing were really gentle. They are trying to get as many bodies as possible into the sky in a finite space of time they are allowed to fly. The ride was wonderful -- right over the brightly lit strip hotels, above the Luxor and almost buzzed (my recollection - probably not) the Strat tower. It seemed to be a really short ride (I doh't remember exactly how long). At the end, we were rushed off and the next "load" was waiting to embark. So, if you are willing to pay a premium for a great experience above the neon, go for it. It really is memorable.
