How much do you tip for a comped cocktail?

No alcohol for me when I gamble. I tip $2 for a bottle of water or for coffee.
$1.00
$1
one dollar for a single drink is plenty. more and more of them are starting to say you cant get a name brand, and I am just talking about middle of the road, not top shelf. and yes, they will swear that they brought what you asked for when they know it is well liquor. a few times I have got up from the table games and left because they refuse to bring the name brand that I requested even though I know they have it at the bar. I don't drink that much, but when I do I don't want well liquor. not being a snob, but the difference is what you feel like the next day. if they would rather I leave with my bankroll than comp me a simple drink, it is fine with me. in the long run my 1 or 2 drinks would cost the casino a lot less than what most people's multiple drinks are costing them. sometimes a good dealer will intervene and call a supervisor that will insist they bring what I want. the dealer knows that I have been spending money and tipping and does not want me to be offended to the point of leaving. anyone with half a brain that understands customer service could figure that one out.
end of rant.

The past couple of years I tip $2 for a drink ( typically ask for Ketel one) if the wife is sitting next to me tip $3 for our 2 drinks.
I have also cut way back on drinking when I gamble. I'm definitely a beer snob, and would rather pay for a couple of good beers after I'm done for the day than drink most of the comped beers. The exception would be bartops with decent pay schedules and good beers, such as MSS and the Parlour Bar at the ElCo.

And when I drink more than 2 beers in a day, I feel like crap the next day.

Life's too short to drink crappy beer...

But back to the original question, I tip $2 for the first drink and $1 thereafter. If I ordered drinks that required a lot of effort to make, I would tip more, regardless of who was paying for it.
We normally tip $1 a drink. But there are times that if it's especially crowded I tip more to get them to remember where I am sitting. If we are sitting at the bar and it's the end of the bartender's shift, I usually through a few extra dollars in as well.

Also, if we are sitting at our regular bar we like, some of the guys will make me an extra special drink and I tip them $5 for that!
I like to tip a $2 bill.... a "Jefferson" gets some attention... ha!

I tip $1 to servers I don't know or are not very friendly. In casinos I frequent and know the servers, its usually $2-$3.

$2-3.
