Jersy Boys--- for a 6 year old?

Hey gang.... I am wondering if taking a six year old boy to the Jersey Boys would be applicable. To be honest, I have seen the show in Vegas and absolutely loved it.

But, my question is on behalf of my brother who would like to take his wife and kid to the show. I am trying to remember if the language / scenes might not be appropriate for a youngster.
I don't recall anything that would be a problem...
other than I think a 6 year old would be bored stiff and have
a problem sitting thru the whole Show...it's an adult story and...
more story than music.
I didn't remember the bad language but a quick google search listed several posts (including Tix 4 Tonite) that say not recommended under 12 years due to strong language.
One reviewer stated, " I'm a New Yorker married to a sailor and I thought the language was bad" - Ya can't argue with that
I've seen it 2 times, and I believe there are a few f-bombs!

I personally would not take a child that young. There was a good amount of swearing, including the "f" bomb.
I would not take a 6 yr. old. The show has an adult theme and is long. Take the 6 yr. old to see Mac King and everyone will have a good time.
NO, I would definately NOT take a 6 year old to the show due to language (yes, several F-bombs)
and because it would be Long & boring for a CHILD.

Its an ADULT story, with ADULT language.

It really amazes me that they would allow a 6 year old in - We should all be sharing the responsibility to protect kids from adult themed shows - and that includes ticket sellers.
Ditto the NO votes.
A 6 y/o old doesn't have the sophistication to appreciate the dialogue/theme/connection to the music.
Not to mention the F-bombs.
I'd like to see some of the consideration given this child be instead given to others in the audience. Even generally well-behaved 6 year olds tend to be far more distracting than older children or adults. For the sake of others in the audience, I suggest finding the child something else to do.
