Jonathan Clark at the Riviera

We saw this show last night and I have to say it far exceeded my expectations and was an excellent show! Jonathan is spot on in his impressions and a very talented singer. He has put together a show of mostly singing impersonations, some comedy and also information about being a parent which he recently became with his new son. The show is well rounded to appeal to all ages from teens to seniors. It was very good and based on his talent he should go far. Go see him now and have your expectations of a show at this price point be exceeded too!

FYI, We see 5-6 shows each time we are in Las Vegas and we go 4 times a year. So we see a lot of shows. We are in our early 50's. We have no connection to the show other than seeing it.

THANKS! Lee...curious. Can you compare him to the other impressionists
who have worked Las Vegas? Did he use a LIVE band or canned music.
What was the showroom like.

Hi Greg, We have certainly appreciated all of your great reviews and seating advise over the years!

Our opinion is he was better than Larry G Jones and Gordy Brown. Jonathan had a live 3 piece band. The room is where La Cage had run for years in the past. More recently DAO had been in this room. (We walked out on DAO.) It is up an escalator from the Riviera Comedy club. It has a raised stage, floor chair seating in front of the stage, a row of raised booths behind the main floor then raised up another level is more chair seating behind the booths. These rear section seats in the front row and center are the best in my opinion and you have to ask for them going in or they will want to seat you on the main floor first.

Seats are not the most comfortable but the show is so good I never noticed it. A tip will get a booth I'm sure if seating comfort is needed. It was engaging from start to finish. Only lagging when he did things for younger ages that we did not relate to. It moved along so that was not long at all. In DAO I could not stand the same seats. What a difference a good show makes!
