Jubilee?

The wife and I have been going to Vegas 2 or 3 times a year for many years now. We go to shows almost every night. The problem is, we are running out of shows to see. I was considering Jubilee as one of the shows for our upcoming trip. I'm not sure what this show is really about. I did the advanced search in here and that didn't help much. I know there are many beautiful showgirls and costumes, but beyond that, I'm clueless.

I'm sure many of the members here have seen the show. Can you guys and gals enlighten me and tell me what the show is about? Any info you can give me is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
it not really about anything. it's kind of like a series of unrelated skits. It is maybe a little cheesy, but the cotumes are stunning and the singing and dancing is pretty good. I am glad I saw it, since it is the last of the old school showgirl shows, but my tickets were free. I don't know if I would pay the $55 or however much they are to see it.
My tickets were free, too, but we ended up walking out about halfway through the show. I agree that the costumes are stunning and the singers and dancers are very talented, but we felt sorry for them that they had to perform in such an outdated and cheesy show. We just couldn't take it, but I'm sure many others will totally disagree with us.

One thing -- if you like gratuitous boobs everywhere, this is definitely the show for you! I don't think there's another show with as many bare boobs on the stage at one time as there are in Jubilee!! LOL
Jubilee has topless and covered shows. It is a series of tableauxs - sinking of the Titanic, Samson and Delilah etc. If you want an old Vegas spectacle - this is it. We enjoyed it.

Agree with tonyrob and KarenTN. Good show and the last of a kind. Don't miss it. Think back to the musical movies of the 30's and 40's.
I really like this show! It's old Las Vegas. It dose remind you of the zigfeld follies type of dancing. The costumes were designed by Bob Mackie and he uses a lot of rinestones, some of them are very stunning. I think I like the show because I am always in some type of dance class and it's nice to see professionals dance. They also have a back stage tour which was fun to see the costumes up close and talk to some of the cast. It's amazing to me how many people it takes to put a show like that on. If you use your coupon from the LVA two people can go for $60. You should see it at least once! Let us know what you think.

We liked Jubilee a lot.
As others said, good costumes and musical acts.
We must have seen an earlier in the evening version.
The girls appeared to be topless but were actually covered with some sort of (almost) invisible netting.
Maybe the later show is truly topless.
Siegfried and Roy and...JUBILEE were the first two Shows on my first trip
to Las Vegas. I've probably seen it 6,7,8,? times since then.
YES, it's cheesy but in a way that only Las Vegas could create and I think
it's A MUST for all Vegas Show lovers.

I suggest a seat in CENTER SECTION C...ROW A (if you can get it) but
anything to mid section row F is great!
I had a chance to take part in the back stage show. It was rather interesting and I highly recommend it, especially if you want to see the show. To be honest, this type of show is not my usual type of show, but after the back stage tour, I was very inclined to see the show.
Thanks to everyone for their input.
