June 8th, Paul, RINGO at LOVE

Here's a chance to see LOVE... 'maybe' get the Summer of Cirque SPECIAL
ticket price AND see Paul, RINGO, Yoko and Olivia Harrison at the 5th
anniversary 'special' performance of the Beatles LOVE at the Mirage...
The Show would be WEDNESDAY, JUNE 8th (nomally DARK that night...)

Robin Leach announced it's been confirmed to him that...all HOPE to attend the Show...

McCartney brings HIS Show to the MGM that Friday but RINGO is on his
European concert tour the other side of the pond...
The first time they all got together was with Guy LaLiberte's invatation to attend
the first special performance to honor George Harrison and John Lennon...George
of course, being the main energy behind creating LOVE with Cirque du Soliel's
founder and good buddy, Guy LaLiberte.

I went that night and it was MAGIC! This time, I'm a little hesitant and I'm not sure why...
Mainly I guess... because this time the anouncement didn't CONFIRM they all would be there
like the first time....(again, all HOPE to attend...)
It also sounds like Guy won't be there, but send a delegation from Cirque.
Sir George Martin and son Giles are expected also.

Damn...what to do, what to do. Book now, and I could have a good seat and (dare i say...) GAMBLE
that everyone would show up. When Paul and RINGO walked into the LOVE showroom that first time,
the showroom just exploded! IT WAS JUST LIKE A REAL BEATLE CONCERT (and I've been
to those too, lol)

If ya go...last time they all sat in SEC. 208, ROW O which is next to one of the runways the Artist enter
and exit from...easy for them too!

My tickets are for June 3, while we fly out on the eighth. Would have been GREAT to plan the trip slightly later to possibly attend on this anniversary. Hope they all do show up, what a treat for the rest of the audience.

My money is on Ringo being the only no-show.
Paul will be in - or close to - Vegas
Olivia and Yoko are probably the most flexible
Ringo is playing St Petersburg on 7th - off 8th & 9th, then Gothenburg Sweden on 10th.

Ringo really loves his Octopus' Garden scene and
he's such a ham, he could show up...

Paul McCartney at LOVE on my birthday?! That's a hard idea to pass up.

FWIW, it looks like the summer of cirque deal does not apply to June 8th (using the link greg provided elsewhere the 8th is not a listed date). Decisions, decisions....

If you go to the Mirage website, the 8th is shown and you can
use the 20% discount if you like.
I called the box office and they booked my ticket using the 20% off.

Speaking of Love, we were there Thursday nite when the equipment or computers contolling the floor to close before Help failed. Poor guy on the see-saw hanging from the ceiling was up there for 10 minutes. They played Twist and Shout and then some muzak till everything was fixed.
