King's Ransom Museum (of Elvis Presley) At Binion's

Has anyone been to this yet? If so, what do you think of it?

I now see (in What's On: The Las Vegas Guide magazine (at least for the week that I was there -- September 30 to October 13, 2013) a coupon for 20% Off of Museum Admission. You can see Elvis' last car for Free (just outside of the museum exhibit), Kids 10 And Under Are Free and you can Meet some of Elvis' Hollywood Co-Stars (on select days) for Free.

The museum is open 7 Days a Week from 3PM-11PM.

I had a 2fer (forget the source) in August and spent a good half hour wandering through this exhibit. I'm not a particularly rabid Elvis fan, but found the displays touching (his report cards from elementary school -- Army induction photos) and interesting. Things I didn't know about his beginnings as a gospel singer, his personal relationships -- being conned into bad movies and out of his money by agents. Many personal items, photos, letters and even an anti-drug badge given to him by Nixon are on display along with many of the costumes and clothing he wore during performances and at leisure. One of my fav Elvis songs is the "Trilogy" -- you can hear him singing it (on tape...) at the end of the exhibit while a video of his funeral procession is shown. I recommend it!
Thanks for that info! Maybe during my next trip to LV I will visit the attraction. I'm also seeing a coupon for $8 Admission in (I think) "Vegas2Go" magazine.

Do you know if this is a permanent thing or just a temporary thing (such as a promotion for something -- such as his birthday -- which I see is in January)? I do know that the front part of the museum (where the car is and the gift shop is) are Free, but are you sure that going through the entire thing is Free.

The entire museum is now free.

The King's Ransom Museum is presenting THE KING in a way he has never been presented before....with FREE ADMISSION! Now, the only Elvis Presley museum attraction in all of "Viva Las Vegas" welcomes locals & visitors alike; at absolutely NO CHARGE! The hours have also been extended to Noon to 10pm – 7 day a week; to better accommodate all those who wish to come experience the magic of Elvis Presley. Enjoy this free gift from Binion's Gambling Hall & The King’s Ransom Museum as we introduce this exciting, all new exhibition to Las Vegas.
Very nice! Thanks for that information and I'll definitely check it out during my next visit (which will be maybe [hopefully] in 3 months, maybe in less time). I definitely do like him & definitely some of his music.

Is this located by Binions.

Thanks
It is located in Binions. between the players club and the poker room. I never was an Elvis fan but I went to check it out. Definitely a good free attraction, I wouldn't have been super-impressed if I had bought tickets though. Some original costumes, sunglasses, gold discs, photographs and even an old school report.

Yes, it is inside Binion's as Tonyrob said -- between the Player's Club booth and the Poker room. In October I went through the front part of the place up until where you had to pay, but I didn't necessarily want to pay $10 or $8 for it. They have a little gift shop too with some videos of Elvis running.

So I'm happy that it's gone Free because I figured that it probably wasn't worth it at $10 or $8.
