Lady Gaga

Saw LVA news pre sale. Went to MGM website. Lot of options.

starting tomorrow. I don't fit any category till Saturday general public.

why bother early booking. I am going to check it out. Seems least

expensive ticket close to $300. Oh well that's about my limit for a

headliner. Hope I don't end up against back wall.MGM park theater

tight in the balcony. It will be my 80 th birthday. I am in pretty good

shape Yet saw Usher at same theatre last year. As I said tight.

Any secret on pre sale Goodnight all

Patricia, just think of the money you'll save not being in the casino during the concert.  I spent over twice that for husband's birthday for Garth Brooks at Wynn years ago.  I've never regretted it.

I did get cheap on myself like 30 years ago...had a chance for great seats for Billy Joel and/ I think it was Elton John concert at MGM.  $150 for two seats which at the time seemed like a million to me so I passed.  I've been kicking myself ever since.  I probably lost that much to the casino during that hour and a half or whatever it was.  You only live once.  Try for one of those other category seats.  All it can do is "sorry, come back Saturday."

I'll pay through the nose for Eagles tickets, even though...well, ya know.

That's about right, Kevin.  And proud of it.  Glad I didn't miss their glory days, either.

Candy  I hear Eagles coming to Sphere Lucky you. I missed old Elvis. Regret that. Especially over the years I've learned more about his life. I've been to Graceland couple of times.Your right about Lady

Gaga At my age why not spend the money on myself. I worked all my

adult years. The last 25 before retirement in the Emergency Room.I am a RN.

Just a thought I see you post a lot on the forum. I am surprised not more

people communicate. Any idea why.?

I just assume Joe Walsh will continue playing through infinity; he's that good and enjoyable to listen to. Back in the day, Felder was no slouch, either. Together they were quite powerful as a guitar tandem...made each other better. Typically, business and egos got in the way of some other unheard musical miracles contributed by these two.

Patricia, I'm a retired RN also, some 45 years all told:  ER, OR, Dialysis, and a short time on a Med-Surg floor (the hardest work of all for sure).  I don't post as much as I used to because most posters are quite dedicated to the horrors (LOL) of spending any time/money on the Strip.  I didn't warm up to Downtown when I first visited there decades ago, and am too old to change my ways, and comps and hosts, etc.  I do miss the days when my BFF (best female friend) and I would hit as many places as we had time and energy for every trip, coupons in hand, Strip and Downtown and occasionally elsewhere.  Then came the Tiers and comps and we got hooked into that way of doing Vegas.  I've seen many shows, eaten at many upscale places in Vegas, most NOT to my liking, which I've figured out is due to different regional tastes, not that the food was bad.  West vs Southern (me).  I love Trip Reports, but my own seem to be the same old same old, even to me while writing them!

Shows I regret missing:  Elvis, Tina Turner, Toby Keith (RIP all of them), many more.

Enjoy Lady Gaga!  I do hope to catch the Eagles.

I saw the Eagles once in 1978, I believe.  In order for this show; Pablo Cruise, Steve Miller, and the Eagles.  Cruise was outstanding, Miller was weak, and the Eagles knocked it out of the Park.  I believe that Joe Walsh had just rejoined the Eagles prior to this tour.

I saw Toby Keith about a dozen years ago, and he was great.

The good old days.

Thanks Candy Seems we're kindred spirits. My 1st experience in Las Vegas was short time at age 21. I worked in dinner house near the Sands.

I visit often over the years Mostly 1990,s when my best friend moved

there to care for her mother. Linda passed away several years ago. I miss her a lot. I go with my son now. He gets lots of perks because he is able

to match with business hotel travel.Comped at Flamingo this year.I did bite the bullet and got Gaga tickets around $300 bucks rear orchestra against wall for isle seats.Haven't followed her much except her TV with Tony Bennett and her Movie. Not many headliners in June Looks like a good show.

Maybe I will see Eagles next year if I make another year.

Still love to play getting bargains game.
