Las Vegas area 51

I am trying to plan a trip for seven people three of whom are between 18 and 21. Can anyone provide me with any information regarding area 51? I Am interested in knowing what the admission cost is and what types of options and their costs are available once you get in. We know nothing and would appreciate any information that you have to share. Thank you

Area 15 is a huge building about the same size as a small shopping mall.   It's free to access the building itself.   You pay for each individual attraction once inside or you can buy some tickets online. The biggest attraction by far is Meow Wolf's oMega Mart.    That's the only one I've done and if you are only going to do one thing there that's the one you should do.

they also have an illuminarium which is like the Van  Gogh experience going around the country at your local art museum.   It basically projects a cinema on all the walls, ceiling and floor of a room so it looks like you are immersed in another world.   Hey have several experiences in this regard.

lots of virtual reality games and rides you pay for ala carte.

indoor golf  range where you hit the ball into a screen.

couple bars and lounges to get a fancy umbrella drink..   street food scattered about.

Area 51 or Area 15?

PJ offered the particulars for Area 15, which has the Omega Mart.

That would be a pretty bad idea, as aside from the fact that all the alien babble is complete nonsense, you can't even get into "Area 51." All you can do is stare through a locked gate.

Now, Area 15, you can't get kidnapped by aliens, but you can get your wallet vacuumed. I've never read an objective review of the place, but I've seen a few surreptitious videos of Omega Mart. Doesn't look like anything I would ever pay $50 to see/experience. And that's only one fee you'll pay to experience this Bizarro World place.

Now, if Area 15 were in, say, Wichita, it might be worth visiting just to break the mototony. But deliberately seeking out and paying for weirdness in Vegas seems like overkill to me when you can walk the FSE or the Strip and see surreal things, bad humor, and lotsa colored lights for nothing.

Did the Omega Mart, that is an hour of my life I will never get back, plus the entrance fee.  I found it to be a complete waste of money.  I think I missed something.
