Las Vegas The Show

Anyone seen this at the Saxe Theater at P.H.?
Yes. I think it would probably be a pretty good show BUT..... I had to leave because the volume was overwhelming.

I sat outside the theatre and it was STILL very loud. One of the ushers said "We've had lots of people complain about how loud it is. You need to talk to the manager." I really didn't want to talk to anyone. (I just wanted to LEAVE!) I figure you pay your money you takes your chances ;-) However, she INSISTED that I voice my concern.

They offered me "professional level" ear plugs. Huh.

Give it a miss unless you have a high tolerance for noise.

I've seen Vegas the Show several times...never had any problem with
the volume however...It's a real good 'B' level Show however I think it's
a bit pricey. Once apon a time, you Total Reward card got you a nice discount
and I'm sure TIX4TONIGHT has their tics.
I've seen lots of things in that Saxe Theatre and I prefer to sit in the upper rear.
It's a good little Show!
Thanks Gregrio, new you would come through for me!

Yeah, GO FOR IT 'wpsh46'...it's FUN!
Their LIVE band is very good...and a tip to going up to the showroom.
It's on the top floor...you walk up and if you have a problem with stairs,
TAKE THE ELEVATOR from the lobby, lol.
I absolutely love this show. I've seen it three or four times and will see it again. I like the live band and the variety of the music in the show. There are a couple of variety acts that rotate. I really love the two tap dancers.

You can definitely get tickets at tix4tonite and I think there is a 2-fer in the MRB.

I would not pay extra for VIP seating.
Everything Gregrio said. Very good show.

Small showroom, no need to pay premium for up close.

I was put off by what seemed at first to be (and was) total disorganization at the theater entrance. I don't know what is with that arrangement.

But once in the showroom, very easy to locate your seat.

Seats were comfortable and tiered enough so the view isn't obstructed for shorties like me.
Ya know...they really try hard at Saxe Theatre. Problem is,
the staff is new to showbiz and are kinda learning as they go.
Same at David Saxe other showroom, VTheatre.
Their staff is small and under manned.
'Candy', you think YOUR experience was a bit unorganized...I was
there not too long ago to see Vegas! The Show again and there was
a HUGE group of seniors from a retirement community there.
Lots of wheelchairs, walkers, and just ssllooww moving folks. Can you
imagine them all using THOSE STAIRS!?! lol...many used the elevator
but it still took FOREVER to get everyone upstairs and in their seats, lol.
They'll improve...
Greg!

Yikes, Greg, I forsee the day when I'M in that sloooowwww moving bunch. LOL.

You are right...the theater staff were very patient as us show-goers looked this way and that, trying to figure out which way to go. Frightfully inadequate signage didn't help that.

I went to this show in July and the volume was fine. I was in the fourth or fifth row, center. Loved the show. Like Greg said, not a "mighty" production, but lots of fun and excellent dancers. For those of us who truely love everything Vegas, it's a historical review of our favorite city. For just a passing tourist, it's a nice show.

I bought a Groupon ticket for about $40, then upgraded to VIP at the box office solely so I didn't have to stand in the general admission line for an hour (I had burnt blisters on my feet in the hot Vegas sun). The VIP seats are certainly not needed for sight-lines, but it was worth the extra $10ish I paid to just show up at showtime and go to my seat.

Enjoy the show!
