When we went down to the pool level it was about 90 degrees with (as expected) very high humidity. Once the show begins, the air temperature around the pool gets over 100 degrees. Why you ask? The cast members do not want to be shivering when they get out of the pool. In fact, they have these metal plates scattered around the pool entrances where the cast members lean against to stay warm. "There is not an ounce of fat on our cast members and thus with no insulation (i.e. - body fat), they need help to stay warm.." said our guide.

Safety harnesses for the cast members

During out tour, the cast members where practicing jumping from the top level. This photo is taken right from the top looking down into the pool.
