Machine Gun shooting

I'm the person who asked the QoD about doing this in Las Vegas. I was wondering if anyone has done any of the places listed and has any reviews or recommendations?

Also, ideally I would like to go buy the 9mm or .223 ammo at Walmart and then go shoot fully auto weapons at the ranges by just paying a hourly rental fee for the gun. I don't really see that option. Any ideas on what is the most frugal (okay, I'm cheap) way to get to shoot as much as possible?

Thanks!
I know that some people here have commented about going to the ranges (I think in some trip reports) but I have no experience with this although I will say that I do know that there are deals (coupons) for at least some of these places in the LV Freebie magazines (you might also be able to check out some from some of the Freebie magazine websites such as at https://www.247vegas.com.

Within this link, go to the Vegas Values Coupon Booklet Link where you will (at least currently) find three offers from three of the ranges -- The Range ($20 off of any $150 package) , The Gun Garage ($10 Off of Any Experience) and Machine Gun Experience ($15 Off or 1 Free Mag).

I doubt that most of the gun ranges will allow you to use your own ammo in the weapons that they provide. I believe that they use frangible non-lead ammunition for the indoor ranges. Likely, their ammo is a reduced load to save wear and tear on their inventory. Allowing you to use your own ammo may give rise to some liability issues for them. I've used the range located behind Circus, Circus on Industrial Blvd, Battlefield Vegas, several times. Easy to get to from the Strip and they have a wide range of packages to choose from. They also offer free Humvee pick up and drop to your Strip or Downtown hotel. The range staff have been very patient and professional. I've been an avid hunter all my life, but shooting a Thompson machine gun or a Browning BAR is a real kick. I've also shot at the range at the Gun Store located east of the Strip on Tropicana Blvd. The last time I was there with my adult children, the place was packed..had to wait an hour before getting into the range. The instructors were great, but my kids felt being rushed through the experience.
I have also seen coupons around in the LV Freebie magazines (at least in the past) for Battlefield Vegas, so keep your eyes open for that as well.

Please be careful!
They supply the ammo at all of the ranges. It can get expensive if you want to shoot alot. There is one range that has a mini gun to rent. You get 100 rounds that lasts 3 seconds,I think.

Anyone have any updates on this?  My wife and I are coming out in April 2019 and she wants to buy me an experience.  Any place to find reviews of the ranges?
