Today's QOD shares some insight on dining while watching a show. The old norm was to have a meal inside the showroom while you watched the show. But costs and logistics changed this.
In the QOD, there was mention of the show "Marriage Can Be Murder" and instantly I got the shakes and tremors.
In my opinion, "Marriage Can Be Murder" has to be one of the worst I have ever seen in Vegas. I have had the pleasure of seeing many "A" rate shows (Cirque & etc) to "B" rate shows over the last 20 years. Being somewhat of a entertainment nut, I can usually find something good from a Vegas show. Whether it's the band, the lighting, the props, the music or the humor... there is always something good about the show. But, without a doubt, the worst show I have ever seen in Vegas has to be "Marriage Can Be Murder".
The show feels like a cheap high school production play with poorly delivered lines and dialogue. It feels like the jokes came from some sort of cheap "How to tell Jokes" book or jokes taken off the internet.
I can't believe I am saying this but I would rather sit through another rendition of "Starlight Express" (the old Andrew Lloyd Weber's roller skating extravaganza which was housed at the Las Vegas Hilton) than see Marriage Can Be Murder again. Yes, I said it.... I would rather see Starlight Express over this horrible show.
