Many of us know about MYSTERE. It's always my suggestion to folks who
have never seen a CIRQUE DU SOLEIL Show and want to know which one
to start with...CIRQUE's first Show in Las Vegas, in it's very cool showroom,
with the best Pre-Show FUN of all the CIRQUE Shows...now has a new ending.
The Show has been DARK for a while now, while they've been working in
the new 'trapeze' act and new Artists.
This is the first real change to MYSTERE since it opened and is designed to add
more excitement to the finale of the Show.
The new Artists come from the CIRQUE Show in Japan called 'ZED'.
Since the tsunami and nuclear plant disaster, audiences numbers have dropped in
Japan and CIRQUE has brought the troupe to the States.
The trapeze act had been added to MYSTERE and the rest of the cast 'might' replace
VIVA ELVIS over at Aria....(might)
These folks 'fly' right at the top of the MYSTERE showroom.
A HUGE net is spread the width of the stage and...good thing too. 2 flyers missed
their catches the night I went and fell to the net below...only to climb all the way
back up and do it again. (they'll get it together...) a new Show, a new country, a
new audience...I think it's amazing they've worked it in as quick as they have.
