Mystere, V and the Country Show at Golden Nugget

I think I have set myself up for disaster but what the heck! You only live once. I am going to Vegas with my wife per her request for our 16th Anniversary. I am in Vegas about six times a year and my wife has never been. She does not drink or gamble.

My wife is very simple...loves Country Music and good food. She is very fitness / health oriented. Just the person for Vegas right!

Anyone have thoughts on these three shows she wants me to take her to? I will try and get her to Gilley's and Toby Keith's place. I will shoot out to Red Rock and Lake Las Vegas as well.

Would love to hear thoughts on these shows and any other thoughts on my situation.

We are there on a Tuesday through Friday.
Don't use the LVA coupon for the Country show at GN. It is only for VIP seats which are overpriced and totally unnecessary.
For almost the same price you can get the show and dinner - without a coupon.
I thought that the show was OK - but not great. The artists rotate so I guess it depends on who you get on the night.
Does anyone know if there is a way to find out day of who the feature act is?
I love Mystere. Have seen it at least 15 times. Be sure to sit in sections 203 or 204 inside the tunnels, and not lower than Row CC or DD. Otherwise the railing can get in your sightlines.

As of March 13th, Country Superstars show underwent a change thanks to the addition of Cody Collins, former lead singer of Lonestar.

Mystere is original Las Vegas Cirque show and many contend it is still the best. YMMV

MYSTETE is great. Do Not sit in the front section, it's
too close. You want the UPPER REAR centerish and
away from the handrails around the stairs...this usually
means NO ROWS AA,BB,CC.

I also would suggest 'Vegas! The Show' in the SAXE THEATER down and around
the corner from VTheater over 'V The Ultimate Variety Show'.

I really like "V". There are lots of acts that fall into the "crap you can only see in Las Vegas" category - stuff you used to see on Ed Sullivan, the Tonight Show with Carson, etc. I always just get the general admission tickets at the Tix4Tonight outlets and had good seats both times I went.

And I'd second Greg's recommendation for "Vegas - the Show". It's my favorite show in Las Vegas, but then I'm more into music than I am for cirque-style shows.

I also really enjoyed Mystere. I've seen it either two or three times.

Just saw Mystere for the first time a couple weeks ago. By far, the best Cirque show that I have seen (Seen KA, Love, Zumanity, Viva Elvis and Believe - don't laugh... it was free and I was extremely intoxicated and I had a good nap during the show).

Our seats were SEC 203, ROW CC, SEATS 1&2. The sightlines were perfect! There was no obstruction from the railings at all. It was also nice because you are one of the first people out of the theatre, which is great!

PS - Oh yeah, if you do go to Mystere, get there early. There is some great entertainment before the show that you do not want to miss!

Does anyone know of any discounts for Mystere?
Ok, I should have looked at their website first, as they are running 35% off. Looking at seats that are available for the nights we will be there, I can get section 203, and seats in rows MM or NN. Since these are the last two rows, does anyone know if you can still see the show well?
