Nunsense and Trent Carlini

We are thinking of going to both shows one evening at the Las Vegas Hotel. If anyone has seen either the these two shows, comments would be welcome.

I have seen them both. Nunsense is great and if you are by chance Catholic, you will probably enjoy more than me.

When Trent played in the showroom with a big band, he was fantastic, but I have read that in the scaled down show in the Shimmer Cabaret that he is just going through the motions. I saw him way, way back when he played at the Holiday Inn Boardwalk and he did not put forth much effort.

I know I don't have to tell you, but others may want to checkout KSHP which sells tickets to both shows at heavily discounted prices. Prices during its upcoming (June 1st or so) marathon are bargain basement.
I've seen Trent with his BIG band, small BAND, and his currant lounge act
in Shimmer where he uses pre recorded music.
His effectiveness 'chips' down as his music back up has.
Carlini presents a real good ELVIS...my favorite when he could afford his big band.
Go for a discount if you can find one.
I saw Trent Carlini at Shimmer Cabaret in Dec 2010
Here is what I posted in LVA forums -

We saw Trent Carlini at the Hilton in December. Very disappointing.

He did not have a band,

In his opening song he walked into one of his Elvis cardboard cutouts and spent about 15 seconds attempting to stand it up before someone from the audience did it for him.

On one of his exits he went to put his microphone on the stand, missed and had to pick it up off the floor.

On another exit he turned to leave and his crew hadn't opened the drapes for him where he exited - one of his showgirls did it for him.

His performance seemed rushed, and it appeared that he didn't want to be there - his heart wasn't in it.
I appreciate that anyone can have a bad night, but he just didn't seem interested.

I had heard that his show was good, so I would be interested in reading a review from a different night.

What is KSHP? I imagine the HP stand for half price. Please excuse me but I'm very tired, it's late and OKC KICKED THE LAKERS A*****S. so I am tired but very Happy.

We will all celebrate with you - there are lots of lacrosse fans here.
GO OKC - someone, somewhere, knows what we mean - even if we don't

KSHP is a radio station that barters radio time for gift certificates and then resells the certificates at a discount. Regular prices are very good, but they are further discounted during special sales and during the quarterly marathon. The next marathon is at the beginning of June.

To participate you will need to sign-up online or in person for a shoppers card. Purchases may be made at the KSHP offices, at road shows or online. Make sure you understand the terms before purchasing. For example, the certificates expire 90 days after purchase unless otherwise noted.
