Penn & Teller

So I saw Penn & Teller in 3D on Rachel Ray. (It wasn't 3D actually because I didn't have the glasses.) And it kind of made me want to see their Rio show, which I have never seen, though I've seen P&T in other venues.

Any ticket strategies? Any suggestions? Anybody think I'm nuts or a genius to want to do this?

pre-buy on travelzoo appears to be the best deal right now, last january i got tickets thru the total rewards site at 40% off. not sure if they are running anything now.

they, P&T, did a meet and greet in the lobby after the show. I, my son and my sister saw it and totally enjoyed it. well worth the discounted price.

Yeah, I like 'em a lot too and have seen the Show LOTS of times
over the years. I buy in advacne and prefer the up front VIP tics.
My last visit...December this year, it was a spur of the moment thing.
I got a tic from the Box Office about 2hrs, before showtime. The VIP seats
were all sold out, and chose what they called a 'booth', lol. It's just a bench/table
in front of some of the seats mid room on the upper level. I even negotiated the
price DOWN with the guy at the Box Office a bit....View was good.

Went I went in Feb 2010, we got discounted tickets and purposely bought the least expensive seats we could find. When we got there, we were upgraded to about the 10th row. The room was about half full and they were not seating anyone in the upper level. It was a good show and if I recall, everybody is invited to go on the stage and write their name on a sign (before the start of the show). They did a meet and greet after the show as well which was neat to get photos.

I can easily beat 40% off. LVA's MRB has a BOGO for Penn and Teller.
