Phantom 5th anniversary tickets - 2 for $99

Though the offer states it is applicable through 9/4/11, I was able to apply the code to tickets in October.

With fees and taxes, the cost of 2 tickets was $128.90 versus the rack rate of $175.

This is a great offer. We bought four tix for Aug 16th. They are the same seats we got last year. Center of the first row in Mezz level.

If you decide to go, plan a little early as there is no e-ticket option, and only the cheapest postage is free.
Do you tip to get down lower?
When my wife and I saw it we were first row balcony and I wouldn't want to be closer. Without giving away the show, you need to be back that far the first time you see it.

Is there anything better or different about the Vegas version of 'Phantom'? We've seen proffessional traveling productions that were very good at the Dallas summer musicals in the past.

If it's much different or 'special' in some way, we'd love to see it again.

Any thoughts?
hkrumnow1,

I saw the New York version twice; and the Vegas version once.
The Vegas version is more streamlined as per time and content. But not in any bad way.
Where the Vegas version excels IMHO is in its special effects, limited they may be. In this regard New York is way behind.
So I would say the Vegas presentation is worth seeing esp. if you are a Phantom fan.

I took advantage of this deal and bought 2 golden circle seats as a very special present. Never spend this kind of money, as we generally do not have it.
I was wondering what kind of dress code does the audance wear?
This is not official, but I think you can wear whatever you want, short of beachwear. I myself think its nice to dress up a bit if you're so inclined.

We just saw this last weekend. It was amazing. I highly recommend.

Dress was all over the board. I'd say most people were dressed sort of upscale casual. (is that a thing?)

But you wouldn't be out of place in shorts I don't think.

We sat on the very first row of the balcony and had a very good view of everything. It was hard to make out facial expressions but the overall show experience was excellent.
