Groupon had an offer, but has since advised purchasers that the show will be closing at Planet Hollywood
on May 18th according to an article by Vegas Chatter.

I'm hoping to use my Groupon next weekend.
Thanks, Folks. Will be there first part of May.

Has anyone heard where the show is going next? We saw it a couple of times and it is great.
I had front row seats on Sat. night. I used the Groupon and would go again without one. I really enjoyed it. After the show VIP ticket holders could have pix taken. I asked where they were moving to after I had my picture taken and they said to be determined but check their website.
I had a chance to see the show using a Groupon for the general admission seating selection as I knew the room was really small and that it was doubtful that there would be a bad seat in the house. A free drink was to be included with our Groupon purchase and when we inquired at the box office, they said that the maitre' D would give us that coupon. Well, we waited in line and we had to remind the staff member twice about the drink coupon. But regardless whether we had these vouchers for the free drink or not, it would not have mattered as the servers treated us like we were invisible. We were not rude at all so there was no reason for us to be ignored. We even tried to catch the attention of the server, but I suspect that we had a "free drink" voucher along with the "cheap seats" selection sort of denied us of the privilege of redeeming this coupon.

I totally understand why this happen as the Prince Tribute band pays rent (aka "4 walls" the theater), pays for the drink servers, pays for the sound and lighting techs, and pays a discounted rate for each drink they serve. The rest of the revenue, they keep as profit. But this particular night, I can't imagine they made any money. In fact the manager for the Prince Tribute show even acted as the maitre 'D. (The same guy who was very hesitant to giving us the drink coupon)

While I understand it, this disappointed us. The show was pretty decent but I don't think I would want to pay full price for this show.
I saw this show many many years ago when it first started at The Boardwalk. I thought it was great. I'd love to see it again
