"Donnie and Marie" show worth seeing?

Is the "Donnie and Marie" show worth seeing? I am not a particularly big fan, but I saw a lot of enthusiastic reviews elsewhere on their performance, and so am considering. Saw mixed reviews on their "meet & greet". Any comments would be welcome.

I've never seen their Show...not my style, but I've never read a bad review!
Their fans think it's great, and one would think...after all the experience they've
had, you should have one totally entertaining evening...
They've also just re vamped the Show so you could be one of the first to give us
a new, fresh report! (meet 'n greets are highly over rated imo)
Donny and Marie are entertainers and not performers. I use the distinction and classify them along with Paul Anka, Tom Jones, The Scintas, Clint Holmes in that they bring you into the show and get you involved. It is an incredible experience. I've seen performers who just get up there and sing each song and then leave the stage. With Donny and Marie you are included in the show with them and feel like you've known them forever. Whether a fan or not, it is definitely a show worth seeing as they are both tremendously talented individuals and you will come away with a great feeling after seeing the show. By the way, I am not a "fan" either, but I loved their show.

I realized the distinction between entertainer and performer when I saw Paul Anka at the Hollywood Theater at MGM. A women was taking a photo during the show (a definite no-no) and an usher went to stop her. When Paul Anka saw this, he went up to her, said "Did they tell you you couldn't take a photo?" and proceeded to take the camera and take a picture of the two of them together. He then began singing "Good Morning Yesterday" and told the audience that he made so much money from Kodak for that song, there was no way he would stop people from taking photos. As he sang the song he walked around the audience and anyone who had a camera with them, he would pose with them and take the photo. That is an entertainer!

But I digress. Donnie and Marie are the same type of entertainer and you will love their show.

Thats quite a Good review! Thanks lhfried.
I was of the mindset as Gregrio, they're really not my taste.
But, a show is a show.........and if comp tix? Could be do-able.

I just can't imagine I'd enjoy this..
but I adored those Australian singing boys so much (Human Nature)-- what do i know?
If in Vegas; if comped,,.. why not?
I know I sure ain't buying the T-shirt..
I loved it! I "grew up" with them (age-wise), but was never really a fan - but the show was fantastic!
I sat in front of a woman my age and her Mom who were RABID Fans on the plane ride home-- they gushed about it for as long as I would listen. reminded me what a normal person would think of me and Barry Manilow....lol
. I got a contact high from them.. their enthusiasum was almost too much to bear
They both had everything wearable that was DONNY&MARIE on.

OMG, I Can't imagine being THAT big of fan?

I remember playing frisbee with an Osmonds record. It was Uncool to like the Osmonds. lol

Jackson 5 was their competition. End of story.

thanks to all for input. I will probably go in the Fall, and give a report.

I didn't want to go, my husband did so we went because we each pick a show to see and that one was his choice. I have to say that was one of the best shows I have seen in Vegas.
