Same here. I've seen it several times and am sure I will see it again. Unlike a lot of the tribute shows, where the singers try to sound just like Elvis or the Rat Pack or Prince or whoever, this show just features a cast of very versatile singers. Great band. I am a musician not a dancer, so I can't really speak to the quality of the dancers, but I always enjoy the dancing and think that it adds a lot to the show.
They usually have a couple of really good novelty acts that rotate in and out, including a couple of spectacular tap dancers who have been in the show every time but one.
I would not pay for VIP seating, unless you're going to be in town on a very busy weekend and don't want to wait in the GA line. There are a couple of bad seats behind some posts. They are on the sides up front, but most of the GA seats are just fine.
They always tell you to get in the GA line an hour beforehand, but I really don't think you need to do that. The GA line heads alongside the theatre towards the exit door, then circles back around. Unless the line has started circling back around pretty far, you won't get one of those bad seats. I'd check around 45 minutes before and if the line isn't bad, go get a drink and check back around 25 or 30 minutes before.
It's money well-spent, especially since you can use your LVA coupon or get them at the Tix4Tonite outlets. The show has been running long enough that it would be pretty unusual that you wouldn't be able to get a ticket.
