Raiding the Rock Vault

Anybody see this show? What is it like? Any good?
It is a good show..... the band, which is talented, play nothing but the top hits. The show is SORT OF like Rock Of Ages but with less drama. Raiding the Rock Vault does have a reoccurring theme and actors. Essentially, the audience is taken back in time when rock music ruled the airwaves.

You should have no problem getting tickets from a discount broker. I'd say that the show provides a pretty good bang for the buck.
Thanks I will use my LVA coupon
For me, Raiding the Rock Vault and LOVE are the 2 best shows in Vegas.

If you like the classics Rock Vault is very good. Where as Rock of Ages focuses more on the hair band time period RRV takes in a wider period of both artists and styles
Went to the show using my LVA coupon. It was a great!

Since the Trop is a Hilton Doubletree hotel they give complimentary upgrades to Hilton Honors members as available. Since I am a diamond member we sat in the first row!

Tip for Hilton Honors members; buy the cheap seats
Best non-Cirque show in Vegas.
Saw and and dug this show -- a lot! There's table seating close and theater style seats in the second tier. Folks at the tables were dancing. The cast can change somewhat but we saw a Rock and roll hall of fame guitarist -- and it showed. In terms of value, this and Carrot top are the two best values in Vegas.
Do they still have the format where a Rock Legend joins them at the end of the show and does a few of his hits? I knew nothing about the show when I first saw it ans was surprised to see Tracy Gunz in the band, and even more surprised when John Anderson of Yes came out.
Next time I saw it, Mick Jones from Foreigner was the guy who came out at the end. Even without that, its a great show. I hear the special effects aren't as good as when they were at the Hilton, but the show is tighter.
I've seen the show a couple of times when it was at LVH and a couple times at Tropicana and there were no special guests coming out at the end for any of the shows I attended.

The lineup does change here and there. The first time we saw it Howard Leese from Heart was one of the guitarists (Doug Aldrich was always the other one), but in subsequent shows it was always Jason Boyleston instead of Leese. The female was always the same when we saw it (Carol-Lyn Liddle), but she has now left the show completely. Other than that, it has pretty much been the same lineup -- Paul Shortino, Robin McAuley, Andrew Freeman, Jay Shellen, Michael T. Ross, Doug Aldrich and Jason Boyleston. Sometimes, Hugh McDonald from Bon Jovi is also there.

Actually, in the beginning there was John Payne, but they tossed him out for some reason (and he was one of the guys who came up with the idea for the show). I can't remember the name of the guy who has replaced him. Wait... it's Mark Boals from Dokken.

Great show no matter which musicians are there that night. If you like rock from the 60s - 80s you can't go wrong with RTRV.
