We'll be in Vegas for 4 nights in May. Looking at the entertainment schedule, I was getting disappointed because I didn't see anything we were interested in seeing. Then I happened to look at Richard Elliot's website for tour dates to see if he would be in our area this summer. Turns out he isn't BUT!!! he will be at the Santa Fe Station while we're in town! I'm so excited because I have 2nd row seats! He is one of my favorite sax players!!
1st time I saw him was Gilly's nightclub in downtown Dayton, late 80's/early 90's. The lady sitting next to me found out we had never heard him before. She told me when I heard him play "When a Man Loves a Woman" I would fall in love with him. She was right!! Wow!! Love the song and love to hear him play it!! It has become his signature song that he plays at most every performance.
If you like smooth jazz and have never seen him in person - go to one of his concerts and you'll see why I enjoy his music so much! He also does a lot of upbeat songs that makes you want to get up and dance or just move in your seat!
