Rita Rudner at the Venetian (any reviews?)

Any reviews, comments, etc. ?

TIA, Rick
The Rita Rudner show at The Venetian is exactly as you would expect it to be.

Exactly.

So what does that mean??

Fair enough. I'm just saying that the nature of Rita Rudner's act is very knowable. She's a skilled big room comedian in her late 50s telling well-crafted jokes about life and current events. It's generally nonoffensive, but with occasional racy aside to give the crowd a thrill.

Here's what LVA wrote about her almost nine years ago.

Do you like Rita Rudner? Your answer will tell you everything you need to know to decide whether or not you want to see this show, because it’s all Rita and nothing but Rita. She walks out, launches straight into an hour and 15 minutes of standup, and it’s done. For those who don’t know her comedy, Rudner is a real pro-both the audience’s response and our reviewer’s report were significantly more complimentary than the surprisingly low Member Rating. Notably, the show is about 97% clean humor (no profanity; the other 3% being some semi-racy innuendo).

You can bet that she hasn't remained a Strip staple the ensuing years by changing the formula much. If that sort of act interests you, Rita Rudner's doing it about as well as anyone could.
We really liked her show at Harrahs.
Amazing to be that entertaining without a lot of stage backup.
But she does it well, very funny.
I saw her at NYNY and she told jokes that I remembered from her act in the 1980s.
I really like her, but I'm sure I have heard all her jokes. Why should I pay good money to see the same show I have seen on TV? That money will make a nice buy-in at the craps table.
