Rock Of Ages

Has anyone had the opportunity to see "Rock Of Ages" at the Venetian ? My question is this:

Show time starts at 8:00 p.m. My flight arrives in Vegas at 7:15 p.m. I am considering just bolting my luggage and rental car and hoping into the cab and head directly to the show.

After the show, I would then have to return to the airport to pick up my luggage and rental car. I know, it is a bit strange, but I have never been classified as normal!!!!!! (Thanks Mom!)

Or can I sacrifice missing the first 15 mins?

I could be wrong but from memory I believe it started about 10 minutes late. If you are with Dollar Express you can get your car in less than one minute (after the bus ride to the car rental centre). I would get the car and then go. BTW - It is an awesome show - Rock of Ages and Rock Vault are 2 shows that we will be seeing again on our next trip - my 2 favourite shows in Vegas!

I am an express member, but waiting for luggage and bus ride (from terminal 3)can add up on the old time clock. Umm..... what to do.

Definitely won't work if you wait for checked baggage. I would think that there would be a service that will pick up your baggage and deliver it to your hotel - worth asking the airline or hotel. I read in these forums the Plaza will transport luggage from Airport to Plaza.

The first few minutes introduces all of the main characters.
The show is long for Vegas standards and includes an intermission.
I also really enjoyed the show.

You are assuming that your flight will arrive at 7:15. Flights are late all the time. And even if it is on time, you are cutting it very close. Who wants to rush like that upon arrival? Can't you go the following day?
